Norwegian invests heavily in Scandinavia and comes with 16 new direct routes, seven of them from Norway.
The listed airline states in a press release on Monday morning that they will launch 16 new direct flights from Scandinavia from spring 2020. Seven of these routes are from Oslo, Trondheim, Stavanger and Bergen. At the same time, the company is increasing the frequency of a number of departures from Norway.
The new routes will be to Poznan, Kaunas, Wroclaw and Düsseldorf, among others, while those in Trondheim will have a new route to Gdansk, and there will be new routes to Billund from Stavanger and Bergen.
– “We are now looking forward to offering affordable tickets and good service aboard our new, more environmentally friendly aircraft,” says Magnus Thome Maursund, director of route development in Norwegian.
There will be four new routes from Oslo. Airline passengers will be offered two weekly flights to Kaunas in Lithuania, starting April 3, two weekly flights to Wroclaw, Poland from April 1. The same day also opens the offer of two weekly departures to Poznan, often referred to as Poland’s cradle.
The following day Norwegian starts with four weekly departures to Düsseldorf.
